Healthy Communities Limited CIC was supported by Transform Ageing, an initiative to change the way society approaches and designs services for people in later life.

Transform Ageing is funded by Big Lottery and run in partnership with the Design Council, the South West Academic Health Science Network and the Centre for Ageing Better. The programme will initially focus on the south-west of England. Our project provided the opportunity for 16 local people to become exercise instructors, and supported them to set up classes in their local community. The training was provided by endorsed provider Move it or Lose it.
